LSW, Hawaii
Sarah holds a Master of Social Work with a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Simmons University, Boston, MA. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO, and additional certificates in Peace and Conflict Resolution and Crisis Prevention Intervention.
From the mountains of Colorado and Washington to the volcanoes of Hawaii, Sarah knows something about being adaptable to life’s changes. Often described as bright, hilarious, and empathic, Sarah became a therapist so she could be a light and help others become their own light.
She believes this is her life purpose: to make guests laugh even on their darkest days. She will be guests’ top fan and offer unlimited encouragement.
Guests who work with Sarah often end sessions feeling relieved and eager to set up their calendar for long-term partnerships with her in therapy. Many guests say that if it weren’t for Sarah, they would be much further away from their goals and are grateful she has helped them lean toward their dreams.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys roller skating, playing with her dogs, and baking. She also has a love for astrology and is inspired by Japanese culture. She is LGBTQ+ supportive and inclusive in her work.
