Holly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, and Licensed Associate Counselor in South Carolina. She holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah.
At WCC, Holly aims to help people find the good in their bad and uncover their own truths, recognizing that guests are the experts on themselves. Her goal is to provide clients with the skills they need to eventually move on from therapy. Holly describes her therapeutic style as eclectic, choosing different modalities that suit each guest rather than taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
Holly works with individuals aged 10 and older. Having benefited from counselors during her own difficult times, she hopes to give back what was once offered to her. She’s happy to work with individuals, couples, partners, and families, utilizing a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Existential Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Family Therapy, and other modalities. Holly has experience addressing addiction, adoption, dating and relationships, domestic violence, family conflict, hoarding, life transitions, parenting, personality disorders, and trauma/PTSD.
Originally from a small farming community in Idaho, Holly is often described as genuine, mellow, and sympathetic. In her free time, she enjoys home repair projects, cooking, and spending time with family. Her favorite vacation spot is Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, and she loves walking on the beach with her dogs.

We need somebody we can talk to and, most importantly, somebody who will listen. Michele is a solid place to turn in these moments. Offering a safe space for individuals to express their feelings without judgment, discrimination, or repercussions from stigmatizing labels allows the process of change to unfold naturally.
