Susan Polo, LSW
Susan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s of Social Work at Barry University. She decided to become a therapist, because she wants to guide the person toward the change they desire to become. Those who know her best would describe her as someone who is funny, caring and free.
Previously, Susan has worked with trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, life changes and couples. She has always wanted to help others and support them in any small way.
Susan values therapy for people, because she thinks that therapy is not for the “crazy” people or “severely mentally ill”, but it is something we can all benefit from. Her desires are to change and remove the stigma that therapy has in society. Susan has used multiple treatment modalities including CBT, EMDR, EFT Tapping, Solution-focused, Goal-oriented, PMR, Client-centered, Grief and loss, Compassionate care, and Group processing.
In her spare time, Susan loves traveling, watching movies, working out, reading and exploring. She is ready to help you to process your emotions, hear you and support you!
Susan is currently accepting new guests.
