Sandhya Saeman (pronounced SAN-DEE-YA) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, families, and children, bringing extensive experience and a broad range of therapeutic techniques to her practice.

Sandhya has worked in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings and in private practice, where she has successfully supported clients across various demographics, including children as young as six, adolescents, young adults, adults, and the elderly. Her expertise spans a wide array of mental health issues.

Sandhya’s therapeutic style is characterized by her outgoing and friendly demeanor, intelligence, and creative problem-solving abilities. She is guided by the belief that “Your focus determines your reality,” and she works diligently to help clients navigate their recovery journeys, providing them with the support and resources they need to achieve their goals.

A dedicated researcher and lifelong learner, Sandhya continuously seeks new ways to address her clients’ unique challenges with evidence-based care. She believes in meeting clients where they are and customizing her therapeutic approach to each individual, ensuring their specific needs and preferences are always prioritized.

Originally from India and now based in Wisconsin, Sandhya is fluent in American Sign Language and values inclusivity and accessibility in her practice. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys staying active through workouts, flying planes, and fencing. She is also a fan of the movie *Notting Hill*, loves Indian food, and shares her life with her dog, Sita.
