Ra’eesa Sadat is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Master’s of Social Work and Master’s of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Those who know her best would describe her as someone who is patient, generous, affable, compassionate and kind. Ra’eesa decided to become a therapist because she has always enjoyed providing others with a safe space to experience unconditional acceptance and motivating people to embark on a self understanding and self love journey. Previously, Ra’eesa provided physical, emotional and educational support during pregnancy and labor and also she provided supportive counseling around adjustment to illness, hospitalization and outpatient care. She believes that therapy helps to remind people that their light continues to shine in the dark, and that the darkness has not overcome it. Ra’eesa uses multiple treatment modalities including Interpersonal psychotherapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Motivational interviewing and Solutions-focused. She is also studying Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and Dialectical behavioral therapy. In her spare time, Ra’eesa likes traveling to new destinations, spending a day at the beach, visiting botanical gardens and practicing yoga with her daughter.
Ra’eesa is currently accepting new guests.
