Julia Rhodes, LCSW
Julia Rhodes is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Master’s Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Those who know her best would describe her as someone who is compassionate, supportive, thoughtful and funny. She decided to become a therapist because it was a way that she can help people by providing support when people needed it the most. Julia has always considered herself as the “therapist” within her group of friends, and has always been the person that people wanted to talk through things with.
Previously, Julia worked with a great variety of mental health problems including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and schizophrenia. She thinks that it is important that her guests know that someone cares and wants to help them. She believes that therapy allows people to take control of their lives in a new way, to build the tools needed to successfully face whatever is next, and to find contentment and satisfaction in their lives.
Julia has used multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy. In her spare time, Julia enjoys singing and watching Broadway musicals, cheering for her favorite sports teams, and reading fantasy books.
Julia is currently accepting new guests.
