Email about Danielle Slyder
Danielle Slyder is a licensed clinical professional counselor and provisional art therapist who earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling, with a specialty in Art Therapy, from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She believes that life is a journey with many ups and downs, so she seeks to provide a supportive environment and an open mind to all of her guests. Ultimately, she believes that therapy provides an opportunity to unlock the change and strength we all harbor within.
As a therapist at Willis CC, Danielle is looking forward to supporting families and individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma reactions, ADHD, behavioral issues, and other struggles. Most recently, she has focused her work on families who have fostered and adopted children. The treatment modalities Danielle most often uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Art Therapy.
During her time off, Danielle can be found camping, painting, and jamming to rock music. She loves to travel when she can, but she also loves exploring Chicagoland, which is the area she hails from. Additionally, she also loves watching comedy sketches, reading mystery novels, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Danielle is currently accepting new guests via telehealth and at our Naperville studio.
