Brian Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. He has been running his private practice for the past three years, where he provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, partners, and families. Brian works with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents ages 14 and up, young adults, middle-aged individuals, and the elderly. He is particularly skilled at working with teens over the age of 10 and young adults, helping them navigate the challenges of life with empathy and understanding.

Brian’s therapeutic approach is grounded in a strong humanistic philosophy, emphasizing the importance of a solid therapeutic bond and encouraging clients to take an active role in their healing journey. He integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Stages of Change, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), and Yoga Therapy. By utilizing a tailored approach, Brian collaborates with clients to identify and resolve their dilemmas, stabilize emotionally and behaviorally, and reinforce life skills.

Specializing in a broad spectrum of issues, Brian provides support for addiction, ADHD, adoption, anger management, anxiety, autism, boundaries, crisis intervention, dating and relationship issues, decision-making, depression, divorce, family conflict, grief and loss, identity issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, mood disorders, personality disorders, self-esteem, self-injury, sexual and intimacy issues, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, trauma, PTSD, and work-related stress. As an LGBTQI+ ally, he is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for all his clients.

Brian’s journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about the human condition and a desire to create additional meaning and purpose in his own life. He believes that a healthy relationship is one in which everyone can grow, and he strives to make a difference in the world through his work. He finds fulfillment in providing his clients with the support they need to thrive, feeling that his work gives his life extra meaning.

A dedicated and thoughtful therapist, Brian emphasizes the importance of establishing trust and awareness with his clients, ensuring that they feel safe and understood. He excels at creating a non-judgmental environment where it is okay not to be okay, no matter the presenting concern. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Brian grew up in Atlanta. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing table tennis, taking nightly walks with his son and dog, and eating sushi. He dreams of living near a large body of water one day. With a passion for making a positive impact, Brian Davis is a dedicated professional committed to helping his clients find stability, meaning, and purpose in their lives.
