Kevin Kaminski, LCPC
Kevin is a licensed clinical professional counselor who earned his Masters of Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Those who know him best would describe him as genuine, humorous, relatable, modest, and cooperative. Kevin always felt that he could and should be a therapist, and he values therapy because it can be a safe place to discuss and process issues without the fear of judgement that could arise from friends, family, or significant others.
Previously, Kevin worked in a co-occurring substance use/mental health clinic providing therapy, as a dormitory counselor for children with severe mood disorders and problematic behaviors, and in community mental health with people suffering from severe and persistent mental illness. He’s worked with almost every age range and a variety of different populations in regards to race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation, and identity. At WillisCC, he looks forward to working with guests dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disturbances, life transitions, and overall mental wellness.
In his therapeutic approach, Kevin utilizes humor and genuineness to help keep the therapeutic process feeling “normal.” He also believes it helps guests feel comfortable and open up about their concerns.
In his spare time, Kevin is a big Disney fan, and he also loves traveling, playing video games, and golfing.
Kevin is currently accepting new guests at all of our studios and via telehealth.
