Gabriella Gaby Cote, LCPC
Gaby is a licensed clinical professional counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Those who know her best would describe her as someone who goes with the flow but still takes time to stop and climb some trees. She decided to become a therapist at summer camp—at the high ropes course—as she learned that she loved helping people process the experience in some creative ways, 40 feet in the air.
Previously, Gaby worked with people living with severe mental illness and helped them find hope and recovery to reach their goals. She believes that therapy is a special space that allows a person to sit, process, and problem-solve in a way that can’t always be done in day-to-day life, and she loves working with anyone who is ready to dig in and work.
Gaby loves using eclectic and strength-based strategies to support guests as they sort through their life and figure out ways to move forward with a new light. This often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation.
In her spare time, Gaby can be found spending time with her husband and three boys, ideally outside, be it kayaking down a river or cross-country skiing in the woods.
Gaby is currently accepting new guests at all of our studios and via telehealth.
